The Homegrown Hospitality Group is looking for a skilled, experienced and creative Kitchen Manager to add to our growing back of house restaurant team. The maestro of the culinary symphony, orchestrating a team of passionate cooks to create unforgettable dishes. With a flair for organization and a love for authentic flavors, you'll oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, all while fostering a lively atmosphere where creativity and teamwork thrive. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the entire operation in the back of house, works in conjunction with sous chef to ensure great food quality
- Creates daily specials and delivers information regarding specs to all kitchen and front of house staff
- Upholds all specs and standards with plating of food for guests
- Oversees all inventory, ordering, and scheduling in the back of house
- Excellent knowledge of all stations on the line and outside expo
- Upholds all DHEC standards with labeling, cleanliness and safe temperature storage of all non-prepped, prepped and cooked food items
- Receives deliveries and reports any issues to vendors and General Manager
- Teamwork with co-workers, adding to a culture of fun, and attendance of staff meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen with significant management experience.
- Proven culinary skills and expertise in various cuisines.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Experience in menu development, cost control, and inventory management.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Culinary arts degree or diploma preferred.
- Experience in a fine dining establishment preferred.
- Extensive wine knowledge preferred.
SALARY RANGE
$60,000 - $75,000 / Annually (plus bonuses monthly)
