Job Overview
Homegrown Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for treating children with various physical or developmental delays. This role requires a strong understanding of developmental milestones as well as the ability to implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Homegrown Therapy has both clinic and home health options available.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
- Stay current with advancements in Occupational Therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and experience in pediatrics.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge essential for effective treatment planning.
- Ability to create detailed care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

This job is planned to start in February. Full caseload ready as current provider is leaving for internship.
