Job Summary
Homeland has partnered with a leading healthcare provider to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist. This role involves performing a variety of specimen collection techniques in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Additional duties may include reception, billing information collection, specimen processing, and customer service. The Phlebotomist will maintain professionalism in all interactions while adhering to safety, compliance, and WA State Department of Health regulations for Certified Medical Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other specimen collection techniques for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and handling of specimens to maintain accuracy and quality
- Collect and verify billing information, process specimens, and handle client and customer service interactions
- Maintain a professional and compassionate relationship with patients, clients, and peers
- Follow all safety, compliance, and infection control protocols in accordance with company policies
- Support front desk operations, including patient check-in, data entry, and answering inquiries as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification
- Minimum of six months of directly related experience, including at least three months of practicum in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

Salary : $35,235 - $45,802
