The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The incumbent will report to the State Preparedness Training Center (SPTC) Administrative Support Unit. Duties include but are not limited to: • Assist in enrolling students in classes via the Learning Management System (LMS) and keep up to date with the completion of each residential class so they receive the appropriate transcripts.• Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as keeping count of students for meal purposes, calling vendors to increase/decrease when needed, and assisting students with inquiries regarding class registration and lodging questions.• Create and keep front desk procedures up to date with new tasks and/or programs implemented.• Receive and distribute mail and packages and assist to keep track of facility supplies.• Answer phone calls and direct or transfer calls as needed.• Maintain and make copies of guest logs and sign people in when visiting or attending trainings.• Complete and process any new and updated LMS user requests on a weekly basis.• Serve as timekeeper for part-time staff including submitting their LATS-NY timesheets as required.• Assist in printing sign-in sheets for courses as well as signs for the training rooms indicating which training is taking place.• Make updates to the daily digital display listing trainings, meetings, etc.• Perform other duties as assigned.

If you are on the eligible list and not reachable, you may be eligible for transfer.
