What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician position at Homeland Vinyl Products?
Plastic Molding Manufacturing Positions available - 12-hour shifts with set Days and Nights with rotating weekends. Benefits of 12-hour shifts; the shift schedule usually equals only working half the month and off the other half (14 to 15 days).
Molding Requirements:
Trim any excessive material from the finished product
Inspect all finished products for defect
Report any defects immediately (Constant quality checks by visually inspecting products to ensure company standards.)
Rotate from trimming to packing; includes but is not limited to packaging of the product in sealed bags, stacking on pallets, measuring, push-pull pallet jack, labeling boxes and etc.
Keep area clean, safe and cluter free, report any issues, attending morning briefing meetings before start of shift, push waste bins.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and/or walk for 12 hour shifts or as schedule demands in a non-controlled manufacturing environment.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts 4 days a week as schedule demands to complete a 42 hour work week
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds with repetition and on occasion lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to move parts from one location to another as required
Ability to measure, cut, and skids boxes to pallet and/or shrink wrap.
Ability to use basic hand tools such as a knife, box cutter, hand saw, screwdriver, wrench, heat gun, etc.
