Description

Job Purpose

To provide ongoing billing support for our HomeLife Academy (HLA) families. Assist families with invoices, payments, and registration needs. Communicate well with families in order to meet their needs and make sure they understand what is expected of them. Exhibiting compassion in communicating with families and in making decisions regarding scholarships, payment plans, and refunds.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Post payments from emails
  • Process payments over the phone
  • Securely handle families payment information
  • Set up payment plans when needed
  • Process refunds as needed
  • Send email invoices
  • Ensure all HLA families remain informed on their outstanding balances and deadlines
  • Reply to emails from our families
  • Answer questions through our Request Manager System (RMs)
  • Help families with registration and / or adding students to an account
  • Process and apply scholarships when awarded as needed
  • Manage Pending Payments accounts, billing orders, and account tags
  • Crosstrain on Recurring Payments and MMP accounts

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Excellent telephone and listening skills are required for this position.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills including ability to communicate well with families and staff.
  • Computer proficiency - any of the following are a plus...Gmail, Slack, Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and finish tasks to completion.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Knowledge of HLA and/or homeschooling a plus.
  • Organizational skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
