Summary
- Create and maintain exciting displays, with current styles and trends in your assigned area.
Visual Designer Duties
- Plan and design room settings.
- Hands-on work from moving furniture to placing rugs.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Accessorize furniture and create accessory displays
- Restock the floor with accessories, lamps, bedding, rugs, art etc.
- Daily communication to the Floor Stock team on the layout of the specific area
- Hang artwork, clocks, and mirrors
- Work independently as well as in a group
- Keep current with the latest styles and trends
- Create exciting displays to increase sales
- Work with the visual manager, buyers, and display team
- Provides feedback to management regarding efficiencies, safety, productivity, etc.
- Follow all operational and safety procedures
- The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned
Education/Work Experience
- High School or GED
- Design Degree or minimum of 2 years design experience
Physical Expectations
- Walking or standing for long periods of time
- Climbing, pushing, pulling and hanging product
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Environmental Conditions
- Will work indoors
- Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings, and noisy work environment
