Aerial Lift/Bucket Operator
Position: Aerial Lift Operator – Full Time
Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc.
Job Summary: The Aerial Lift Operator is responsible for safe daily production; including but not limited to, daily aerial lift inspection and maintenance, aerial lift operation, pruning and tree removal. The Aerial Lift Operator is under direct supervision of the Crew Leader.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Performs pre-work operational check
- Performs routine vehicle inspections
- Operates the bucket using lower controls
- Electrical hazard identification
- Performs aerial lift maintenance
- Positions the vehicle and operating outrigger
Qualifications:
- CDL Class-A, is a plus*
- OSHA familiarity/training
- Clean driving record with no violations
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to bend, stand, or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective Communication with supervisors and coworkers
- Working conditions sometimes include both high heat and cold temperatures
Benefits:
- Starting pay is $22-25/hr
- Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
