Construction Superintendent– Job Description
DIRECT SUPERVISOR:
Chad Stevens
YOU WILL BE TRAINED TO HANDLE THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:
· Primarily responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs, on-site field planning and supervision of sub-contractors.
· Ensure successful completion of projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to self- performed and subcontracted trade work.
· Maintain professional relationships with supervisors, co-workers, homebuyers/owners, realtors, and sub-contractors.
· Ensure that safety measures are met.
· Execute quality control policies at the job site.
· Assist Pre-construction and Project Management to develop an initial project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
· Demonstrate success in managing multiple construction projects.
· Actively participate in coordination of subcontractor scheduling and progress meetings.
· Maintain working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contract with buyer/homeowner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of construction plans.
· Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries and the management of material and document submittals/approvals.
· Maintain strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
· Demonstrate adequate knowledge in the skills of field supervision, cost control, subcontractor management, interpersonal skills, safety, and written and oral communication.
· Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
· Promote the growth and development of subcontractor and vendor relationships.
· All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Salary : $45,000 - $75,000
