The Outreach Educator is responsible for building and managing relationships with child care providers, Pediatricians and other potential sources of referrals within Palm Beach County by completing developmental screens and referrals to qualified children.

The Outreach Educator is responsible for building and managing relationships with child care providers, Pediatricians and other potential sources of referrals within Palm Beach County by completing developmental screens and referrals to qualified children.
Here’s What The Job Involves
- Provides developmental screens to children enrolled with designated child care providers, pediatrician offices, different outreach events and appropriate venues.
- Researches, attends, and participates in community events, fairs, and outreach opportunities to increase public awareness of the Healthy Beginnings system; which may include evening or weekend activities.
- Tracks and maintains data regarding community events and outreach efforts including but not limited to other agencies in attendance, potential clients reached, and/or additional networking and outreach opportunities.
- Collaborates with Children’s Services Council and Healthy Beginnings partners to provide a consistent and unified message regarding the Healthy Beginnings system of care.
- Assists Community Outreach Manager with translating copy/verbiage on marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, social media and other digital and collateral pieces.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (preferably in a field such as social work, developmental psychology, and/or early childhood education).
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in child welfare, primary prevention services, child development or related field.
- Bilingual English/Creole required.
- Flexible with evening availability twice a week and weekend availability twice a month to accommodate client schedules.
- Valid Florida’s driver’s license is required
