Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of various property systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and a passion for maintaining a safe and pleasant living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, ensuring minimal disruption to their daily routines.
- Conduct inspections of property facilities and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections, identifying and addressing any necessary repairs or improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, and work completed.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
- Work with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs as needed.
- Ensure common areas and building exterior are kept clean and in good condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on-call or after-hours as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
