At HomeServices Insurance, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Only Claims Trainee to join our team. As a Medical Only Claims Trainee, you will be responsible for advising clients regarding insurance coverage and risk management issues.
Responsibilities
- Learns how to process policy changes and cancellations.
- Learns how to assist with claims and billing inquiries.
- Learns how to identify and report any circumstances that may lead to potential or actual errors and omissions claim and/or any Department of Insurance (DOI) complaints to the department manager.
Performance Expectations
- Meets all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
- Performs responsibilities as directed, achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Establishes and maintains positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners.
- Fulfills the requirement to follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.
