Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Compliance and Risk Management: Develop, implement, and enforce brokerage policies, risk management practices, and compliance protocols. Ensure all transactions across disciplines (residential, commercial, and leasing) adhere to legal and procedural standards.
- Collaborate with general counsel and compliance staff to maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Act as the primary liaison with state real estate regulatory agencies and represent the brokerage in audits, investigations, or legal matters.
- Training and Professional Development: Develop, update, and deliver continuing education and companywide training on contracts, risk management, state regulations, and ethical standards.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to licensees, managers, and staff.
- Transaction Oversight and File Management: Supervise real estate transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Full oversight of the team responsible for reviewing and approving of contracts, agreements, and disclosures to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk.
- Oversee electronic record-keeping systems and transaction files, ensuring readiness for audits and adherence to state, federal, and company requirements.
- Conflict Resolution and Consumer Relations: Address and resolve complaints, grievances, and disputes involving licensees, clients, or third parties. Assist managers and agents in resolving consumer-related disputes in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
- Industry Representation and Special Projects: Represent the brokerage at state and local professional organizations, participate in task forces, and complete special projects as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years’ comprehensive real estate experience, including sales, training and management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal real estate laws, including experience across multiple disciplines of real estate.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise licensed professionals in a real estate setting.
- Extensive experience in real estate transactions, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience managing a multidisciplinary brokerage with expertise in residential, commercial, and property management.
- Familiarity with real estate transaction management platforms and compliance software.
- Advanced certifications in real estate, leadership, or risk management are a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of real estate management and the Company’s business processes.
- Strong consumer and public relations skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and develop training programs to meet those needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Demonstration of advanced technical knowledge.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Active real estate broker license in the state of operation (required) with continuing education credits in real estate and management
Wage: $147,500.00 - $165,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
