Director of Marketing

First Weber, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Marketing role to join our team in our Madison, WI office. Develop marketing strategies that support business objectives. Develop and implement programs and policies that support organization strategies, sales activities and maximize brand recognition, exposure, and managing brand expansion and integrity. Oversees the company print shop. Manage marketing programs and staff. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Department Management: Establish and maintain a professional, trained and motivated staff through effective team building, performance and career-development programs.
• Vendor Management: Assess, establish and maintain outside agency and vendor relationships to effectively support corporate initiatives.
• Product and Program Management: Identify, assess, develop, promote, and maintain profitable marketing products and services and marketing programs that support the organization’s business and sales goals and/or create new revenue opportunities. Oversees the company print shop.
• Financial Management: Develop and maintain a balanced budget for all corporate advertising, marketing and communications initiatives.
• Website Management: Develop and maintain content on company web page; develop new features as needed.
• Develop corporate communication strategies to support the long and short-term business objectives of the organization and to direct the development and implementation of internal/external communications that support these strategies.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced management and marketing training.
  
  

Experience

• Eight years of related experience in a marketing/advertising environment, including three years supervisory / management responsibilities.
• Real estate experience helpful.
  
  

Knowledge And Skills

• Strong business computer skills.
• Financial skills to manage the operational budget.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Possess a high level of creativity, imagination and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of HTML and Web Graphics.
• Prior experience in design software, including Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Image Ready helpful.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.
