Perform a range of escrow accounting duties and provide support for affiliate title companies and other Share Success Center (SSC) finance departments.

The position provides support to many affiliate title companies and is known as the ‘Gatekeepers’. This group is extremely important because they ensure cash settlement policies are followed and help to prevent mistakes and fraud.
1. Perform a variety of escrow accounting tasks and meet or exceed the service level agreement requirements. (80%)

- Record and send cash related to real estate closings (wire transfers, ACH)
- Maintain title software records
- Perform daily cash management functions: daily deposit balancing, confirming wire activity, analyzing cash position, moving cash between escrow ledgers, and recording transactions to escrow files.
- Monitor bank portals and run banking reports
- Communicate with closers/title companies on specific files and questions
- Communicate with bank contacts and corporate treasury when necessary
- Respond to information requests from inside or outside the company
- Investigate and resolve account and file discrepancies.
2. Work with various SSC finance departments and other groups as needed. (10%)
3. Work on outstanding check and escrow trial balance reports and general process of unclaimed property for various states. (10%)
4. Perform other duties as assigned. (5%)

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Real Estate/Title, Mortgage Loan Servicing, Banking, or applicable field
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business/finance
- Experience working in banking and cash management or processing wire transfers
- Ability to work independently, prioritize when needed, and meet deadlines.
- Strong basic data entry skills and be numbers-oriented
- Collaborate well with a team and get along with people.
Wage: $23.56 - $25.96 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
