Job Duties and Responsibilities
Support sales programs and long-range objectives to enhance business strategy and achieve goals relative to profitability, cost control and organizational effectiveness. (30-40%)
- Coach, educate and support Producers in structuring and submitting high-net worth business to our select group of carriers for underwriting and pricing.
- Partner with Producers in presenting quotes to prospective customers and answering coverage and pricing questions.
- Research and answer clients’, Producers’ and carriers’ calls and emails.
- Advise clients regarding insurance coverage and risk management issues.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
- Handle claims and billing inquiries.
- Foster and maintain good working relationships with Agency Producers and insurance company underwriters.
- Perform annual account reviews for each assigned client and present findings and option in-person, via Teams or over the phone depending on the clients’ preference. (30-40%)
- Work with existing clients to round accounts by identifying additional needs, providing quotes and selling needed coverages. (10-20%)
- Report immediately any circumstances that may lead to potential or actual HomeServices errors and omissions claim and/or any DOI (Dept. of Ins.) or related complaints to VP insurance operations. (0-5%)
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Qualifications
Education:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge with high-net-worth personal insurance.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years successful servicing experience with independent agency (or equivalent) ideally in the high-net-worth personal insurance space.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, claims handling, coverages, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes for this specialized segment of our business.
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products in the high-net worth space especially those represented through HomeServices Insurance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven automation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques.
- Knowledge of the real estate, title, and/or mortgage businesses preferred.
- Familiarity with transactional (T-filing) and electronic (e-Filing) environments preferred.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Property and Casualty License
- Completion of INS, ACSR, CISR and/or APO or related insurance designations preferred.
