Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with childhood development standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through standardized testing and observational methods.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with special education needs.
- Engage in toddler care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child are met.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Organize activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development, including math-related games and tutoring sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that reflects the values of child welfare.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with standardized testing methods for assessing children's progress.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support in subjects like math is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child welfare practices to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
