Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a thorough understanding of property management software, including Yardi and OneSite. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring tenant satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with local regulations.
- Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and processing applications.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, leases, and tenant files using property management software such as Yardi and OneSite.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure adherence to safety standards and identify maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to schedule repairs and improvements efficiently.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial metrics for upper management review.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and Section 8 requirements as applicable to the properties managed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related administrative role within real estate.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 regulations is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and staff.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
