The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
Address and resolve maintenance issues, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair or replacement. Complete work orders promptly and efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
Respond to after-hours emergency requests promptly and effectively, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the safety and comfort of residents.
Maintain the overall appearance of the property by performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal duties when needed.
Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary items are always in stock.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and service requests in Entrata.
Effectively communicate with residents, property management, and leasing staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and a high level of resident satisfaction
Other tasks as directed and assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in property maintenance
Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and trouble shooting skills
Strong communication skills
