We are currently seeking both a full-time and part-time Shuttle Driver for our Student Housing community at Ohio State. Working hours are Full time 11 AM - 7 PM or Part-time 2 pm - 7 pm Shuttle Drivers are responsible for facilitating convenient transportation for our residents. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents during their commutes.
Responsibilities:

Operate the shuttle bus, adhering to predetermined routes and schedules.

Ensure cleanliness of the shuttles.

Collaborate with other departments to support community events and activities requiring transportation services.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of the passengers and others on the road.

Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and passenger safety.

Greet residents with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing a welcoming environment.

Communicate with residents in a clear and courteous manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
Qualifications:

Class B CDL with passenger endorsement

Current DOT medical certificate
-
Must meet federal requirements of DOT drug testing and background check requirements for pre and to maintain employment

Driving record must meet Homestead’s internal motor vehicle record requirements to be insured by our general liability/motor vehicle insurance company
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Able to work in hot weather conditions

Ability to maintain a valid DOT medical certificate
