- Are you an Excel whiz with a sharp eye for detail? Do you enjoy working with data, staying organized, and supporting a dynamic team? Homestead Gardens is looking for a Data Entry & Product Support Associate to join our team and play a key role in keeping our product information accurate, organized, and up to date in our Eagle system.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Create and Maintain SKUs: Use vendor files or manual entry to input new SKUs into the Eagle system and ensure all product data is accurate before finalizing.
- Manage Purchase Orders: Monitor, create, and update Purchase Orders daily.
- Vendor Communications: Maintain clear and professional communication with vendors to confirm accurate product info like UPCs, pricing, and item classifications.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse: Notify staff of price changes, request tags, and resolve order discrepancies as needed.
- Support Promotions: Enter promotional data into the system, assist with pricing coordination, and help prepare tags for promotional items.
- Be a Team Player: Help with general office support, keep supplies stocked, and work with IT to troubleshoot system issues.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or a similar role.
- Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor areas of our retail garden center.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk the store, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs indoors or 50 lbs outdoors.
- Regular use of office equipment (computers, phones, etc.).
Additional Information:
- Full-Time Position with variable hours—must be available to work evenings and weekends based on store needs.
- Travel: Occasional travel for industry events or training may be required (including overnight stays).
