Position Overview :

Are you a driven and experienced Home Health Business Development professional with a passion for healthcare? Do you have a proven track record of building referral networks with hospitals, rehab facilities, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and families?

Join Homestead Health Care Services as a Business Development Manager and play a vital role in expanding our agency's reach. You will work closely with key referral sources—such as hospital case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and physicians—to promote our services and ensure that individuals in our community receive the quality care they deserve. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work both on the road and remotely.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Growth : Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to generate referrals from hospitals, rehab centers, senior living communities, and medical professionals.
  • Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong partnerships with referral sources, becoming their trusted go-to for home care solutions.
  • Education & Outreach : Conduct presentations and outreach activities to raise awareness about Homestead’s services and the benefits of in-home care.
  • Census Growth : Drive census growth and meet the company’s target goals.
  • Collaboration : Work with the clinical team to ensure a smooth transition for clients from healthcare facilities to in-home care.
  • Market Analysis : Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and referral data to identify new growth opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Nursing, Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of business development experience in the home health or healthcare industry, focusing on relationship-building with healthcare professionals, hospital case managers, discharge planners, social workers, nurses, and physicians.
  • Skills :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of home health and home care services is preferred.
  • Other Requirements :

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel within the Chicagoland area as needed.
