Caregiver Position
We are seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers to provide care to our residents in a supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
- Report any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
- Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
- Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Experience working with the elderly.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Every other weekend is required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid Driver's license or ID.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
