Homestead Home Health Care is hiring for Private Duty caregivers in the surrounding area of Shelby Township, MI

Currently we have 2 four hours shifts available, 10am-2pm and 5pm-9pm, apply before the shifts are full!
Responsibilities :
- Use of transfer assistive devices, including but not limited to Hoyer lifts, sit to stand, gait belts and slide board
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and walking
- Evaluate changes in clients health, conferring with other healthcare team members as needed
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping
- Use and cleaning of devices such as catheters, colostomy bags and oxygen supplies
- Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
- Develop and implement meaningful life enrichment activities
- Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
- Transport client to doctors appointments or shopping
- Complete all required documents and charting
- Plan, shop for and prepare nutritious meals
- Provide companionship for the client
- Follow all Homestead policies and procedures
