To perform clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. To effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and through put and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.02 - $20.59 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:
Degrees:
- High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training or Experience required
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred).
- BLS certification required for entities who assist in Transportation, others preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, peer respect, critical thinking skills, self-motivated, customer service skills and/or orientation.
- Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances.
