JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a driven and experienced Home Energy Solutions (HES) Manager to lead our HES department. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with utility programs. The HES Manager must possess strong leadership, organizational, and sales skills to drive growth and capitalize on every opportunity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and able to build and manage a high-performing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage HES department staff.
- Oversee daily operations of the HES department, ensuring efficient scheduling, job execution, and quality control.
- Stay up to date on utility programs, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize offerings.
- Generate sales and identify opportunities to maximize revenue through billable services.
- Hold field staff accountable for performance, productivity, and customer service standards.
- Monitor department metrics, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.
- Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and reporting to utilities and customers.
- Manage materials procurement and inventory to support department needs.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused team culture and maintain high service standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in home energy solutions, HVAC, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn proprietary software.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop and execute solutions proactively.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capable of passing a background check.
