What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant and Transportation Driver position at Homestead Village?
· Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check, be at least 25 years of age due to insurance, and have a clean driving record, to include no traffic violations or accidents.
Position is for 24 hours per week, 6-hour shift per day. Must be available Tuesday through Thursday.
Duties will include driving residents to their doctor appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our Ford Flex vehicle and driving our 15-passenger bus on our Wednesday lunch outings.
· Additional daily responsibilities include, delivering mail from the front office to the residents in their cottages as needed, assisting with resident activities, and maintaining readiness and cleanliness of vehicles including golf carts.
· Responsible for developing relationships with the residents and their families.
· Maintain a pleasant atmosphere and demeanor among fellow workers and a sense of teamwork in conjunction with Activities.
· Must be responsible for wearing appropriate attire, which is business casual or scrubs. No jeans, expect on Fridays.
