Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electronic equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
- Perform low voltage installations and repairs
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble electronic components
- Provide field service support for customers, including on-site repairs and maintenance
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to aid in troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service performed
- Assist with computer networking tasks as needed
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs and installations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electronics equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and installations
- Mechanical aptitude to handle disassembly and reassembly of electronic components
- Experience as a service technician, preferably in the electronics industry
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in computer networking, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and configurations
- Proficient in the use of hand tools for repairs and installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find solutions in a timely manner
