What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Technology Officer position at Hometown Bank?
Summary / Objective
The Chief Technology Officer will manage the Bank's external technology strategy, development, and implementation.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with executive team members to identify ways to assist the Bank in achieving its business and financial goals.
- Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the Bank's computing, data processing, and communication needs.
- Diagnose & resolve minor server problems.
- Maintain server rooms.
- Coordinate with the vendor (Dell) to diagnose PC hardware problems.
- Oversee phase-out of PCs and other IT hardware.
- Coordinate with vendors for phone system issues.
- Coordinate with printer / copier vendors for equipment maintenance and replacement.
- Point person for IT help desk.
- Ensures compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations.
- Responsible for ensuring the Code of Ethics is being followed.
- Responsible for reporting any Code of Ethics / Internal fraud violations.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
