Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on technical issues and customer interactions.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and reporting.
- Facilitate effective communication between customers and technicians regarding vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
- Utilize auto estimating tools to provide accurate cost assessments for repairs and services.
- Maintain records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all service operations.
- Increase tire sales by promoting special offers, financing options, and educating customers on tire safety and performance.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in a service management role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong background in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes and exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Knowledge of service writing techniques, and auto estimating practices is a plus.
- Ability to effectively transmit information between customers and the service team to ensure clarity in services provided.
