Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and facilities maintenance, along with the ability to fabricate solutions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and facilities maintenance practices.
- Experience with logic controllers is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.
- Previous experience in supervising maintenance activities is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions when necessary.
