We are looking for a hard working, dedicated team player for a growing Primary Care Office located in Lillington, you must be great at multi-tasking
Start immediately
Administrative functions - greeting patients, registering patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with registration forms, giving patient instructions, processing mail, scheduling follow-up visits, and completing patient check in/out. Prior authorization knowledge. Preferred experience with Athena Health Medical record system.
Other duties as assigned
Education / Certification Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have current CPR certification. Any intern student hired must obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
Minimum of one years of experience working in a healthcare setting with similar responsibilities is preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, first aid techniques, medical terminology, and general medical office operations and procedures. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be proficient with using a computer, including expertise with specialized software such as practice management and electronic medical records. Must thrive in a fast-paced team environment and be willing to work cooperatively with and under the supervision of other healthcare professionals.
