Overview
We are a property management company based in the Midwest looking for a skilled maintenance person to perform rehabs on mobile homes, on-site property grounds maintenance / coordination of trades, inspections and other tasks as needed.
Travel between multiple properties in Kansas will be required.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep of our facilities, providing a safe and functional environment for all occupants.
The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including home rehab, general property maintenance including light plumbing, landscaping, inspections, etc.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Rehab homes based on company standards
- Handle property mowing during mowing season
- Document work via Company Cam
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Lead small teams on larger projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of mobile homes and related repairs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and residents.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
