What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager - Mobile Home Park position at Hometown MHP?
We are looking for a no-nonsense, organized and resourceful individual to be our on-site property manager for a mobile home park. We aren't going to sugar coat it, this park is a rough and is in the process of being turned around - you've gotta have thick skin and be able to take charge and be assertive. Responsibilities:
- Deliver non-payment notices every month on the 4th in the AM**
- Door knock as needed for those who we cannot get ahold of via phone / email
- Weekly drive through of the property with video
- Ensure the park is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
- Write up violations as needed (check for them weekly)
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants and park visitors
- Perform home inspections, listings & showings
- Contact/schedule contractors and follow up
- Attend evictions as needed
- Communicate with our team via Slack and Monday.com
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks as needed.
- Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with park visitors and staff.
- Assist with projects such as demo of existing homes and infilling vacant lots
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management is required.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
- Experience using Rent Manager is strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise in the park.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Spanish-speaking is not required, but strongly preferred.
