Long Term Care Delivery Driver Sub Supervisor
This position is one that requires the overall knowledge and experience of LTC operations specifically Delivery Driver responsibilities. This person must be of strong character, able to effectively deal with situations and problems as they arise. This person is responsible for the overall smooth and efficient operation of HTP deliveries.
The sub supervisor is always leading by example while nurturing/maintaining the HomeTown culture.
The job expectations are as follows:
- Assist with enforcing all HomeTown LTC policies and procedures. Collect all necessary paperwork, discipline staff as necessary.
- Assist with regular meetings with delivery staff to gather and disseminate pertinent information
- Weekly meeting with pharmacy managers to gather and disseminate necessary information, when supervisor is unable.
- Promote atmosphere of excellence, professionalism and job satisfaction within the department.
- Assist with scheduling of all drivers, routine routes as well as stat and on-call availability.
- Interview and hire department staff in concert with pharmacy managers, when needed.
- Make sure delivery area is clean. All delivery totes are clean and in good condition.
- Assist with overseeing vehicle maintenance, daily fueling, cell phone use and receipt collection and monitoring for all department expenditures.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid and clean driver license
- Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Ability to work independently
