Warehouse Assistant
The Warehouse Assistant will be expected to perform the routine duties of maintaining the company warehouse and allocation of retail product.
This position is for 20 hours a week.
Teammate Expectations:
- Willingness and ability to operate a hi-lo.
- Willingness and ability to complete physical / manual labor when needed and per direction given.
- Must be self driven, team oriented, flexible, dependable and able to effectively deal with situations and problems as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving of all merchandise, including pharmaceuticals, through the warehouse
- Allocate merchandise on a timely basis with attention to accuracy and detail
- Work with and get along with fellow team mates
- Maintain warehouse facilities including organization of warehouse
- Maintain warehouse equipment
- Assist with store remodels, relocations and store closings as needed
- Do whatever is deemed necessary for creating a friendly, caring, safe and happy environment/culture for teammates
- Have Fun and Be Positive Everyday!
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver license & insurable under company provider
- Chauffer’s license required (can obtain in initial employment)
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Physically able and willing to do manual labor
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pass an initial Drug Screen and subsequent random tests.
