What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Hometown Pool Supply Co.?
Hometown Pool Supply, a swimming pool service and supply retailer is looking to hire a store manager for our Old Bridge, NJ location. Swimming pool experience is a plus but not required.
Duties to include:
- Assisting customers with their swimming pool supply needs.
- Selling pool and ancillary equipment, ie, pool pumps, pool filters , pool heaters, pool cleaners, etc.
- Maintaining store cleanliness and readiness, by either being self motivated , or when available, utilizing part time staff.
- Answering phone calls and displaying product knowledge.
We will supply in-house training and on site vendor training when available.
Hours will vary, but in-season you should expect a 5-6 day work week, weekends are a must. There will be flexibility after July 4th in scheduling.
Compensation: From $18 per hour, commensurate with experience in the trade or life experience.
