Facilities Maintenance Manager

Overview
Then AmericInn and Nichols Inn is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our hotels and properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities management, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to managing various projects while maintaining a safe and productive environment for all employees.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
• Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Develop and implement project management strategies for facility upgrades and renovations.
• Maintain accurate schematics of the facility layout, including all mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing improvement or repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facility.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Utilize logic controllers to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Obtain Certified Pool Operator License and conduct daily and weekly maintenance on pools.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to facility operations.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance management.
• In-depth understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication across teams.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
