The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic, ensuring that all front desk activities are handled professionally and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and using our electronic medical record to schedule and create patient cases
- Schedule medical appointments accurately, utilizing medical scheduling software to maintain an organized calendar.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain patient records and care plans in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with other clinic staff to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Handle billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance providers when necessary.
- Support office management tasks to ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-stocked with supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with Athena or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Proficient in using phone systems and basic office equipment.
- Attention to detail in managing patient information and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
