Job Summary
The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst assists Portfolio Managers with underwriting new money, renewals and annual review credit packages. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst spreads personal and global financial statements, completes CRE & C&I worksheets and trend cards; analyzes business and industry trends; analyzes financial statements; builds and analyzes projections; and completes other due diligence required to finalize a credit package.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Spreads personal and global cash flow statements.
- Analyzes business and industry trends.
- Completes C&I and CRE trend cards and worksheets.
- Completes financial statement analysis and projections.
- Assists Portfolio Managers with the completion of annual credit reviews, renewals, new money requests, extensions, and modifications.
- Assists and mentors Credit Analysts with the completion of spreads, borrowing bases, and covenant calculations.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills.
- Works with a sense of urgency.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong worth ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects / processes.
- High degree of personal and professional integrity – consistent, trustworthy, honest, and fair in dealing with bank staff and customers.
- Must be flexible and willing to take-on projects and responsibilities outside the primary scope of position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
