Job Summary
The Senior Sales Assistant role is a sales support position, typically providing dedicated operational and sales support to multiple Financial Advisors (FFAs). This position enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service, and is responsible for utilizing firm policies, procedures, and digital capabilities that will allow them to interact with Investment Advisors along with new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

- Maintain existing client relationships though the processing of client requests, resolving client inquiries, and making sure key client information and documentation is up to date.
- Assist Financial Advisors with onboarding of new client accounts, which includes the collection of required documentation and client information.
- Prepare presentation materials for Financial Advisors.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, and state and federal regulations associated with the sale of investment and insurance products.
- Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, training initiatives, and planning sessions related to the development and growth of the program.
- Perform administrative duties that support the Financial Advisors in daily business practices, including telephone coverage, business travel arrangements, coordination of client meetings, preparing travel and expense reports, and file and calendar maintenance.
- Assist Financial Advisors with client appointments, seminars, and branch training sessions to secure long-term client relationships and provide sales leadership to internal business partners regarding investment and insurance products.
- Assist and monitor reports for the Financial Advisors.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
- Complete all mandatory annual compliance training.
- Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identifications, detection, and determent of money laundering and other unlawful activities, as well as regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance to include fair lending laws.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Required:
- 2 years of related sales experience and/or financial services experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
- Detail orientated, highly motivated individual with superior organizational skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with other business partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent organizational, sales, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel software products.
- Ability to maintain required professional training and license requirements as needed, including knowledge of FINRA compliance, FDIC compliance, the bank’s uninsured Products Policy Statement and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Knowledge of investment and banking products, policies, and procedures.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- FINRA Series 7, 66 (63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
- Applicable state life and health licenses.
