Homewatch Caregivers is seeking a dedicated and experienced caregiver for immediate start to assist a client with a developmental delay in Folsom, CA. This as needed position requires a compassionate yet firm caregiver who can provide comprehensive assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
Homewatch Caregivers is seeking a dedicated and experienced caregiver for immediate start to assist a client with a developmental delay in Folsom, CA. This as needed position requires a compassionate yet firm caregiver who can provide comprehensive assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing and dressing
- Transfers and mobility assistance
- Feeding and nutrition management
- Incontinence care
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities. The client is non-verbal and requires a caregiver who is patient, reliable, and able to handle the physical demands of the role.
This is a demanding role that requires a caregiver who is committed to providing the highest quality care and can support the client in maintaining their dignity and independence.
Schedule (Saturday-Wednesday) Full Time
Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM are the shifts we service this client.
Monday will have a shorter shift from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Days off will be Thursday and Friday.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Compassionate, firm, and reliable
- Experience with non-verbal clients is a plus
- Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
- Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
- Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
