Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support individuals in community integration by facilitating social interactions and participation in recreational activities.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made towards goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Experience in home health, community care, or similar fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is a plus.
- Ability to administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
