Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to a senior in the comfort of their own home. The ideal candidate will be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and has experience in caregiving. This is a full-time, live-in position, and the caregiver will have a private room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and feeding
- Medication reminder
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social engagement
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Provide mobility assistance and ensure safety around the home
- Monitor health and well-being, including vital signs, and report changes to the family or healthcare provider
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Engage in activities to promote mental and physical stimulation (e.g., hobbies, walks, or exercise)
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience
- Able to lift 25-50Ibs
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Trustworthy, dependable, and capable of handling responsibility
- Ability to maintain a positive and encouraging attitude
