Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to our VA clients and New Client Start-Ups. Potential for Long term cases but this is a case by case basis. Possible areas needed Black Hawk, Genesee, Nederland, Boulder, and Arvada.
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring resident rights are upheld, and providing companionship to those in your care.
Full time employees 32hrs or more are eligible for benefits.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. (Must be comfortable with Male and Female)
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients in maintaining their dignity and independence while respecting their rights.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of residents.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.
Qualifications
- Male applicants preferred
- Must accept short term cases and short shifts 2-3 hours at times.
- Must be agile and flexible.
- Top performing Caregiver - must be verifiable.
- Works well with leadership a must.
- Team Player.
- Stays engaged with clients
- Excellent work ethics and integrity.
- Enthusiastic about caring for seniors.
- Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of client rights and the ability to advocate for those rights effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring residents as needed.
- Must be comfortable providing personal care to men and woman.
