JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Manager/Head Golf Pro, the cart and range staff need to be knowledgeable in all aspects of Golf Course operations and "excellent" customer service. This position should be able to manage the cart fleet, and driving range. Should be able to record and relate details verbally and in written form. Must be able to deal with emergency situations. The H-F Park District’s mission statement is “to enhance the quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities, facilities and parks while caring for the environment”.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service.
- Greet patrons and guests as they enter and exit the facility.
- Multi-tasking.
- Efficiently maintaining the cart fleet and range.
- Manage the cart fleet and the driving range facility.
- Keep all carts clean and neat. Check them for damage every evening.
- Keep the driving range clean and neat.
- Refill the ball machine, pick and clean range balls.
- Attend all announced staff meetings.
- Inform patrons of course activities, policies, rules and regulations.
- Competent in all aspects of golf course outside operations.
- Works regular shifts each week. Report to work at least ten minutes before start of shift.
- Have a clean, neat appearance at all times
- Familiar with accident/injury procedure.
- Assist golf course staff with all tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the course.
- Informs the Manager/co-workers of customer grievances.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual, Policy & Procedure Handbook and Employee Manual.
- Other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Efficiently operate and maintain the cart fleet,
- Maintain the driving range at Coyote Run Golf Course.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- A minimum of 16 years of age.
- Background in customer service.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Familiar with park district facilities and activities offered by the park district.
