JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Fitness Operations Supervisor, Massage Therapist provides massage therapy to members and the public. Must be a professional with a degree/license in massage therapy with certification from an accredited school. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service.
- Report directly to the Fitness Operations Supervisor.
- Keep accurate records at the Service Desk.
- Responsible for your own supplies as needed for massage therapy sessions.
- Experience in various types and pressures of massage, including: Esalen, Swedish and Sport massage.
- Be cooperative and develop a good relationship with the public and other staff members.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual, Policy and Procedure Handbook and Employee Manual.
- Mastering in deep tissue therapeutic massage, stress reduction and pain relief/health maintenance.
- Maintain a weekly schedule and block of available time.
- Call the Service Desk at least 24 hours in advance to obtain your schedule.
- Display tact and diplomacy when dealing with the public.
- Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the HF Racquet & Fitness Club.
- Market and promote services throughout RFC and in community.
- Other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Graduate from a state recognized licensed school that provides massage therapy training with a minimum of 500 hours in-class work and 100 hours clinical training
- Possess complete knowledge of massage therapy and have the ability to demonstrate all knowledge of skills required
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Educated in anatomy, physiology, body mechanics and the systems of the body
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certification or able to become certified within 6 months of hire
- Member of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
