JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Managers, the Server provides friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service.
- Maintain a guest focus while performing duties.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shift.
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality guest experience.
- Welcome and greet guests within one minute.
- Make guests feel special, see to guest needs.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations that our guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders and enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Pre-bus tables between each course.
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Complete opening and closing checklists.
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Provide proactive beverage refills.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment and process through the POS system.
- Return change to the guest quickly.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers before they ask.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures outlined in the Safety Manual.
- Other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Follow directions and ask for clarification if needed.
- Work in a fast paced restaurant environment.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Holds current Beverage Alcohol and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) course certification or needs to complete within first three days of work
- 1-2 years of experience dealing with the public.
