QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience using a computer with an intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to use office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners
- Communication skills, team spirit, and a positive, professional attitude
While not required, these preferred qualifications would give you a leg up:
- Degree in accounting or a business college education
- 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position
- Familiarity with fixed assets systems
AVERAGE DAY AS A BOOKKEEPER - ACCOUNTANT
In this bookkeeping and accounting position, you handle a wide range of financial duties to keep our books straight and our finances on track. Attentive to detail, you process accounts payable, review monthly corporate credit card statements, and maintain fixed asset records. You manage our general ledger and prepaid expense schedules by diligently reviewing costs and investigating variances. Overall, your efforts are vital to the health of our parent organization and subsidiaries!
