WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS
As a GPN - Graduate Practical Nurse at Homewood Retirement Center, your typical work schedule offers flexibility, whether you choose to work full-time or part-time. Full-time employees enjoy 8-hour shifts, with options between 7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm, and 11 pm - 7 am. Part-time employees also work 8-hour shifts, typically 2-3 days per week.
Your responsibilities include promoting residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. Under the guidance of licensed nursing staff, you assist with medication administration, clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate resident records.
